SOFT SOUND Foam Panel is a composite of acoustical foam and a non-woven fabric. It is a light weight, sound / noise absorbing panel used to improve the acoustics within a room by minimizing reverberation (echo). SOFT SOUND Foam Panel is a Class A fire rated product. The foam core is a lightweight, open-cell material that is recommended for acoustical and thermal insulation in a large variety of applications due to its outstanding resistance to high heat and low smoke/flame flame propagation. The fabric covering is a thermally activated nylon / polyester blend. The mildew resistant fabric performs well in flammability ratings and has excellent acoustic value. The texture of the fabric is soft and, when applied correctly, will appear seamless. This easy to clean fabric is Velcro compatible and available in a variety of colors.
Use SOFT SOUND Foam Panel in areas where echo and other reverberation needs to be controlled. This flexible product can be installed on curved walls or wrapped around objects such as columns and posts. The installer of SOFT SOUND Foam Panel does not need protective clothing or equipment while working with this product. It is easy to install and will not release airborne particles. Due to the vibrant colors available, one can use SOFT SOUND Foam Panel to achieve a desired acoustic result while improving the aesthetic value of a space. This product is not recommended for high traffic areas. Practical applications may include office buildings, classrooms, libraries, auditoriums, restaurants, convention halls, stadiums and manufacturing facilities.
